Inheritance
22’ / 2-Channel Video / 2023 / In collaboration with Maia Chao

Inheritance is a two-channel video installation that follows young people in Boston as they debate issues created by Capitalism that already affect them, or will do in the future. These range from climate change and race reparations to the housing crisis.

The film observes both the young people’s efforts to understand these issues on a personal level and the historic and institutional structures through which they are taught to debate them.
